No not that one - the one with the famous braids... "BO" is the character of "Bo Brady" on Days of our Lives and "Derek" is Derek Sheperd from Grey's Anatomy. Both actors - Peter Reckell aka "Bo" & Patrick Dempsey aka "McDreamy" portrayed their roles as hot sexy heartthrobs on two of my favorite shows! I grew up watching DAYS and the storyline of BO & Hope. I watched this hot rebelious dude on a motorcycle with the heart of a rich girl,, I LOVED the storyline! The adventures they went on! The love of the two characters was something that Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso created with sheer chemistry! There could be no other actors to play those roles! I was one of who knows how many people that laughed when they were goofy and cried when they were apart - and then married - and broke up - and remarried! It was sad when one of the actors "took a break" from acting to pursue other things - which included living their own lives. For 30 years, even when I myself took a break from watching DAYS ( yes - it's true I missed some chunks of stories from time to time)..I always knew I could turn on DOOL and get caught up on their storyline. Bo and Hope are like old friends that you could always catch up on!! Bo & Hope were a soap opera Supercouple!! About 13 years ago - a new medical drama came on called "Grey's Anatomy" - introducing the characters of Meredith Grey and Derek "McDreamy" Sheperd. Ahhhh...a new TV Supercouple was evolving from the start of the first episode! For years every Thursday night my sister and I would tune in to watch the story of "Mer-Der" evolve! We screamed at the TV when they were being stupid and cried when they were sweet and spectacular! We cheered for them through their medial ailments and those that stood between their love story. We were faithful followers of the show and all the storylines. Grey's was a staple that offered up another suercouple with a hot guy and oh so McDreamy eyes and a smile that would make your day!! And last spring - the writer of Grey's - Shonda Rhimes crushed our world. So Thank you Peter & Kristian and Ken Corday and all the DOOL writers! Thank you for giving us a specatular storyline of a Soap Opera Supercouple that - in my book - can never be usurped ( Luke & Laura are in 2nd place)
